Welcome to our lives!

This is Beatrix Potter, the artist of this term and the writer of one of the most beloved children’s book of all time, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, was a woman of immense talent and generous heart. Although Beatrix and her brother grew up in London, both were deeply influenced by long family holidays in the countryside.

Beatrix Potter painted by Olivia Wast in 2012.

Her talent for drawing and painting was discovered early and encouraged.  She drew her own versions of such stories as CinderellaSleeping Beauty, and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Here you can see some of her most famous illustrations:

If you want to know further information about her, there is a family film that you can watch at home called "Miss Potter". This is the trailer:

It's all about perspective

This is a good example of the type of activities that we have been working on:

To keep practicing the perspectives you can try the next one:

It is exactly the opposite, instead of having two vanishing points to create a diamond, from one single point you should create the perspective. Would you like to try?

Day of the Valencian Community

The 9th of October is the Day of the Valencian Community, for this reason few weeks ago we decided to focus on some Valencian tradicions, customs, buildings, people and fiestas. We used all this information to fill up a profile with the different objects such as Giuseppe Arcimboldo did some years ago with his popular painting 'Vertumnus':

Would you like to know which is our next project?
